Full-Time Project Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Opus DaytonKnight is a multi-disciplinary Canadian consulting firm based in British Columbia providing specialized engineering consulting services to municipal clients.
We are currently seeking a Project Mechanical Engineer for our Head Office in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

The ideal candidate:
-
Has 5 plus years related experience in mechanical engineering,
-
Preliminary mechanical engineering assessment,
-
Design and commissioning of municipal pumping station and treatment plant mechanical systems,
-
Experience with AutoCAD,
-
HVAC systems design,
-
Familiarity with control system,
-
Familiarity with Instrumentation and control loop,
-
Construction inspections and supervision,
-
Startup and commissioning
-
Has the ability to assume increasing project management responsibilities,
-
Is a self starter with good verbal and written communication skills,
-
Will have experience in the mechanical engineering environment, together with eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC).
